Let's talk about the now CD's!
Welcome to my community to talk about anything to do with the now that's what I call music CD collection in any country.
Feel free to talk about your favourite or least favourite now CD, whether you collect them, when you started collecting them, and basically anything else you can think of to talk about to do with these collections. As I said on the info page though, just make sure you say which country's collection you're talking about so that if people comment they know they're commenting about the right one.
Anyway, I'm in the UK, so naturally, I collect the UK series. I started collecting them in 1994, when I bought now 29. This was around Christmas time that year, and I'd just got a CD player. Anyway, I can't remember whether I ententionally meant to collect them at first, but I bought the next one when it came out, then the one after that, and so on. So when I realised I was buying them every time they came out, I eventually thought oh well, I might as well collect them, and I have ever since.
I think if you keep buying them, it's the best way to get all the big chart hits.
I've managed to get hold of some of the earlier ones second hand, so I now have them on CD right the way from 23 apart from 25, and I also have 16 and 19.
I think my favourite ones are 28 and 29, probably because they were out in 94, my favourite year for music. I also like 56 a lot. I can't think off the top of my head though what my least favourite one is.
I think also on the UK series, CD 1 generally tends to be slightly better than CD 2, although I think there's been a few exceptions, the main one that springs to mind being now 47.
Anyway, that'll do for the minute, and hopefully it'll give you some ideas of things to talk about.
